Now Database-Driven, Sponsorship Allows Web Site to Deliver Largest Guide to Vermont Music
Friends of Big Heavy World have long been well-aware of the Burlington-area band guide maintained at http://www.bigheavyworld.com since 1996. Now due to popular demand from Southern Vermont and made possible with backend programming by Scully Interactive, it is being RE-launched as a state-wide opus of Vermont band information. The online guide is located at www.bigheavyworld.com/bandguide.php and presently includes contact information, links, and music descriptions from hundreds of Northern Vermont artists.
Vermont-based musicians of every genre are invited to use the online form on the band guide Web page to submit their contact and musical style information to publish in this very big, very heavy directory.
Improvements to the Vermont Band Guide and its evolution to a database-driven publication were made possible by Scully Interactive, a Burlington-based Web development firm with ownership and staff that are highly supportive of Vermont's music community. |
