The survey was conducted to collect feedback from Rutland Herald and Times Argus readers on a variety of topics. The survey consisted of over 75 carefully selected questions grouped by common categories. The administration of the survey and the results are managed and available through a back end administration system. This system provides the Rutland Herald with both individual and aggregate data analysis reports for reviewing the survey data. Over 2,000 responses to the survey were collected in less than two days. The Rutland Herald and Times Argus will use the results of this data to better understand the demographics and needs of their readers so they may plan wisely for future site enhancements. Scully Interactive also developed an e-commerce system for the Rutland Herald and Times Argus to promote and sell subscriptions to the newspapers. Scully Interactive created the system to present subscription offers, process online transactions, and fulfill each order. The subscription system uses the content management features of Cosmos to add and edit subscription offers and to manage the flow of orders.
